Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, the character designer for Neon Genesis Evangelion and several of Mamoru Hosoda's films, drew Vocaloid virtual idol Hatsune Miku for the cover of sound producer Mitchie M's new album Greatest Idol. Sadamoto had been interested in Hatsune Miku before, and agreed to draw the cover for the CD when he listened to Mitchie M's songs.
The CD will be released on November 6, with a regular copy of the CD costing 3,150 yen (about US$32) and a “Godly Jacket Limited Package” edition CD costing 4,095 yen (US$41).
