World Order Band Welcomes The Olympics to Tokyo

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Japanese techno pop band World Order released a music video titled "Welcome to Tokyo" in celebration of the country winning the Olympic bid. Like many of World Order's videos, the music video shows the band performing choreographed robotic dances in public places.

The band is helmed by jack-of-all-trades award-winner Genki Sudo. The man spent his early career as a professional wrestler, MMA fighter, and kickboxer. He's published multiple essays and acted in Japanese films and television shows including the live-action Rurouni Kenshin film where he starred as Banjin Inui.

The Summer Olympics will take place in Tokyo in 2020. Southern All Stars was voted as the #1 choice for the ceremony's opening musical act in an official poll.
