Los Angeles Might Get Its Own Cat Cafe Too

With cat cafes now sprouting their tails in American metro centers like San Francisco, other latte-minded animal lovers are looking to make sure other cities get their chance, too.

Enter Catfe, a project that plans on bringing the magic of cat cafes to Los Angeles, California. The founders have already secured permission from the LA Department of Health and the LA Animal Services, and are now seeking crowdfunding on Kickstarter to try and raise capital.

In addition to beverages and pastries, the cafe will also allow customers to interact with cats, which will be selected from local animal shelters, and will be available for adoption.

The project is still seeking an additional $345,000 with 26 days to go.
