AKB48 Shares Their Memories From Last Year's Earthquake Volunteer Activities

March 11 marks the fourth anniversary of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, with many in Japan turning out to remember and honor the thosuands of lives that were lost in the aftermath.

Pop supergroup AKB48 also posted a tribute video, sharing their memories from disaster site volunteer activities that took place between March 11, 2014 and the present.

Members of the group visited six places in three prefectures today, while "The Great East Japan Earthquake Special" performances were held at the theaters of AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, and HKT48.
