Sanrio Stores Heading to U.S. Universal Studios Theme Parks

Sanrio's Hello Kitty and her crew of cute mascots are heading to Hollywood and Orlando for their first official theme park collaboration. Universal Studios theme parks will open Sanrio-dedicated shops with exclusive merchandise featuring the likes of Chococat, My Melody, Badtz-Maru, Purin, and Keroppi. Character sweets will also be sold.

The shops will open later this year.

Hello Kitty already has a presence at Universal Studios Japan at the park's Hello Kitty Fashion Avenue that includes her Cupcake Dream ride and Ribbon Collection boutique (seen right).

The iconic mascots are currently on tour throughout the U.S. as part of her Hello Kitty's Supercute Friendship Festival.
