Asahi Shimbun Prints In-Universe Gundam Issue

National paper Asahi Shimbun has released copies of a special issue called "Asahi Shimbun Mobile Suit Gundam Edition". Published to commemorate the opening of the Mobile Suit Gundam: THE ART OF GUNDAM exhibition in the Mori Arts Museum, this 16-page paper was created to introduce the world of Gundam to its readers.
The paper includes series overviews, an interview with Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino, a special on 35 years of Gunpla packaging, and even fictional news stories based on events that occur in various Gundam anime.
This newspaper is being sold in anime shops and convenience stores nationwide in Japan for 400 yen (about US$3).
The Mobile Suit Gundam: THE ART OF GUNDAM exhibition is running until September 27.
