Manga Editor Provides Glimpse of Lolicon Magazine's Standards

In the realm of lolicon manga, seemingly minor age differences can mean a lot more than usual. This was confirmed by a tweet on November 27 by Amagappa Shōjogun (KOYUBI de Kakimazete, Attakaku, Shite.), one of the manga artists at the erotic magazine Comic LO:

When I was making arrangements with my boss:
"These characters look a little young for 9."
When I suggested making them 8 instead:
"LO's readers want 9-year-olds, 8 is too young. Change the picture instead!"
This is the level of fine-tuning at LO.
