Bus Tour of Live-Action Patlabor Filming Locations Planned

On February 25, the crew that maintains and sets up the life-size Patlabor mecha, the AV-98 Ingram, announced via Twitter that a bus tour of the filming locations of The Next Generation -Patlabor- is being planned for March 27. The tour will conclude with a visit to "Section 2" to see the Patlabor in person and take pictures with it. More details are promised shortly.

The life-size Patlabor toured Japan in 2014, including outside Tokyo's Kichijōji station, the home field of the Chiba Lotte Marines, and the picturesque Himeji Castle, where it was used to encourage traffic safety. Its tour was stalled momentarily when someone climbed onto it and broke a crucial part.
