Shonen Jump Offers Year of Back Issues to School Exam-Takers

posted on by Eric Stimson

Taking college entrance exams is a nerve-wracking, stressful, and exhausting experience. Worst of all, with all that studying to do, students find it hard to keep up with their favorite manga! Even if they do well on the tests, they're stuck with the daunting task of catching up on all that One Piece or Nisekoi. But luckily for them, Weekly Shonen Jump is stepping in with a kind offer to make that easier: a year's worth of Shonen Jump back issues!

"In the spirit of [saying] 'Great job!'"

In order to be eligible, applicants must have taken an entrance exam to a high school, college, or specialty school in 2016. (They need to prove it with copies of or scans from their exam admissions tickets.) The students will be entered into a lottery with five lucky winners. The 49 Shonen Jump magazines (2015 issue 14 to 2016 issue 13) will be delivered digitally. The application deadline is March 31.

If you happen to be eligible, the application is here. A few exam-takers got to relive a classic manga (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) in a creative geography portion of Kokushikan University's entrance exam this year.
