App teaching basic techniques & recipes comes in two versions featuring male or female characters

The official website of Creative Freaks' Gochi-Show! and Gochi-Show! for Girls cooking game apps began streaming two 30-second English trailers for the games on Saturday. The trailers preview the games' cooking modes and adventure game modes.

Creative Freaks' official website states that the English versions will be available this summer, and the company also plans to release versions for PCs and tablets. The company previously released its Burn your fat with me!! and Burn your fat with me!! for girls exercise and sim apps in English.

Creative Freaks released Gochi-Show! and Gochi-Show! for Girls in Japanese for iOS and Android on March 17 for 480 yen (about US$4.29). On April 18, Creative Freaks released free trial versions of the games called Gochi-Show! -Lite- and Gochi-Show! for Girls -Lite-, which include the games' first three chapters and five recipes each. Additionally, players can purchase the full versions between April 18-30 for a discounted price of 120 yen (about US$1.07).

Gochi-Show! and Gochi-Show! for Girls allow players to gain confidence in their cooking skills in real life as they progress through the games. The apps are intended for beginners, and each game includes a cooking mode as well as an adventure game mode that allows players to improve their cooking skills as they progress through the story and interact with its characters. The adventure game mode includes nine main chapters, as well as five extra chapters for each of the games' three characters.

Both games include 11 lessons, 24 downloadable content lessons, and over 40 mini-lessons, with more to be added in the future. The lessons cover recipes from simple omelettes and fried rice to more complex and elegant dishes. The lessons walk players through recipes from preparation to completion, and also include food and cooking trivia.
