China Chat Service's Elise Character Stamps Gets Animated Promo Video

The popular character Elise from the program "WeChat" is the star of a short animation from DMM Pictures. The Chinese program "WeChat" uses stamps similar to Japan's LINE service. The titular main character is a baking champ that lives in Sweet Town. The Elise stamp set was downloaded over 400 million times as of February 2017 and is overwhelmingly popular with Chinese women in their teens to 30s.

i☆Ris idol group member Yū Serizawa both voices Elise and sings the theme song in the Japanese version of the promotional video. Serizawa is releasing her first solo album with six tracks on April 26.
