Hatsune Miku Goes Post-Apocalyptic for Magical Mirai Event

Japan's most iconic virtual idol has joined the world of Mad Max in the "Dune" music video for "Suna no Wakusei" (Planet of Sand) the theme song for the Magical Mirai 2017 event. Miku appears to be the idol of apocalypse, backed by a posse of skull-wearing supporters.
Hachi wrote, composed, and arranged the song and Minakata Laboratory animated the music video. The company has previously worked with both Hachi and the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva video game series.
The Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 2017 event will take place September 1-3 at Makuhari Messe. The event will have five live performances from Friday night to Sunday night. A music area showcasing creator tools, and popular Vocaloid creators themselves, will be at the event's "Creators Market."
