Love Live! Sunshine!! Voice Actress Promoted to Numazu's Chief of Police

Voice actress Shuka Saitō is briefly trying out a different profession until the Love Live! Sunshine!! film premieres. Saitō has signed on to take over as chief of police for the town of Numazu in Shizuoka on January 10. She'll hold the position for perhaps the shortest time ever, roughly 30 minutes.
Saitō will use her new found power to carry out publicity for the area's "110th Day" celebrations. "110th Day" (110th-ban no Hi) is a commemorative date set by the National Police Agency in 1985 to help promote proper use of "110," Japan's emergency call number. Since the date was founded, a female idol is picked every year to to be police chief, with the exception of 2016 when singer DAIGO was picked.
Voice actress and idol Yui Ogura previously held the police chief title for a day in the mountain city of Kiryū her hometown in Gunma Prefecture.
