Ditto Transforms Into 5 More Pokémon as Capsule Toys

The official Japanese Pokémon website unveiled the sixth set of "Figure Collection Henshin! Metamon" (Figure Collection Transform! Ditto) merchandise on April 13. The new capsule toys feature a transformationally challenged Ditto trying its best to appear as Alolan Vulpix, Electrode, Shaymin, Whimsicott, and Absol.
The capsule toys will debut at Pokémon Centers throughout Japan on April 25. Each capsule will cost 300 yen (about US$3).
A Ditto who can't quite transform properly has already appeared as various merchandise, including a plush line that went on sale in 2016.
Ditto fans out of the loop may be happy to know that Ditto joined the ranks of a select few Pokémon (Slowpoke, Magikarp, Mimikyu, Tentacool, Gengar) to receive a special honor last fall. It has its own official song!
