Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc may be over but its array of magical outfits are sticking around. The mail-order site Favorite One took cues from some of Sakura's most iconic looks to create fancy, sophisticated day wear.
The first dress is based on Sakura's crystal tutu from the anime's first opening sequence. Favorite One's designers even included crystal charms dangling from the gold points.
The second dress is based on the outfit Sakura receives from her great-grandfather that previously belonged to her mother, Nadeshiko.
This room wear outfit is based on Sakura's battle costume from episode two, which in turn is partially inspired by the original Card Captor Sakura's first opening sequence. It looks a little fancy for just lounging around the house.
This dress is pretty much an exact replication of the Tomoeda Junior High uniform with the individual elements streamlined into a single dress. It actually works pretty well!
This 'medieval' dress is based on the outfit Tomoyo wears in episode seven of the series. There are a few changes, namely the original included suspenders and was knee length instead of ankle length.
The final dress is based on Sakura's outfit from the anime's first ending sequence.
All the dresses are available for pre-order on Favorite One's official website as well as Rakuten Ichiba and Yahoo! Shopping sites. Orders are expected to ship in mid-August.The dresses will then be available for purchase in stores. Dresses costs approximately 12,490 yen (US$113) to 17,980 yen (US$163) each.
