Changes at Metreon

ADV Store Closing, Anime Parties Added
The Sony Metreon in San Francisco is making two big changes to their anime-related draws in the coming month.
The first is the closing of the ADV store, which is to be replaced by a shop dedicated to Sony's Everquest online role playing game. Metreon's partnership with ADV was for a set 1 year period that finishes on October 31st. According to a Metreon representative the partnership was very successful, "But things are always changing at metreon and that's to the benefit of our guests."
A new feature at the Metron will be "Anime Parties," a part of their birthday party program. Clients can rent the action theatre for parties that include anime showing and catered food. The cost is $17.50 per person, up to 100 people maximum and although it's a part of the birthday party program it can be for any occasion (or none at all.)
