Hana Yori Dango Anime Licensed

While completing our Anime Central coverage and looking through a flyer given out at the Viz panel, we noticed something very interesting. Regarding Hana Yori Dango, or Boys Over Flowers, "Viz will release the anime series in the US and cross-promote both the manga and the anime."
A bit of further verification shows that the title is even solicited for a release on Diamond Distributors website. "Scheduled to ship in August 2003," according to the website, but also cautionned as possibly shipping up to 90 days late.
Interestingly, no press release ever arrived from Viz announcing this license. Back in March it was rumoured that someone had the license.
