1000 episodes, 400 hours of Anime available for viewing

Parts of the very popular World Masterpiece Theater series, which aired on Japanese TV between 1975 and 1997, will be released by the Nippon Animation Co. on Yahoo! Japan for online viewing.
Available will be 24 different series consisting of approximately 1000 episodes and 400 hours of Anime. Miyazaki's Conan, not actually a part of WMP, will also be included in the program.
Twelve, as of yet unnamed, WMP series will be made available for download in August, with another twelve following in September. It will cost 300 Yen (US$2.50) to view the first episode of each series and 500 yen to view 5 episodes of any series.
