Nausicaa Inspired Flying Machine on Display

The Petworks OpenSky prototype, co-developped with NTT and inspired by the Moeve from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, is now on display at the NTT ICC exhibition in Tokyo.

The current M-02J prototype is attached to s multi-screen version of Microsoft Flight Simulator, giving exhibit visitors a taste of what the flying machine might do. The prototype has a jet engine and is scheduled for test flights next summer.

NTT ICC's website for the exhibit has pictures and information (in English) about the project and the exhibit. The exhibit runs until March 11, 2007.
