News First screenings of 5 Centimeters per Second Announced

Latest feature from director of The Place Promised in Our Early Days debuts on March 3rd in Shibuya
According to the official site for the film, Byousoku no 5 Centimeters (5 Centimeters Per Second) will make its first appearance on the big screen at the "Cinema Rise" theater in Shibuya. The film is the latest project from Shinkai Makoto, who's film The Place Promised in Our Early Days was honored with numerous awards by critics in Japan.
The film will debut at Cinema Rise on March 3rd, followed by a limited release at theatres across Japan. Cinema Rise will be selling tickets in advance for 1000 yen, while at the door admission will be set at 1300 yen.
