News Missing Animazement Attendee's Family Asks for Help

Missing person report filed for North Carolina teenager. Updated
A teenager who attended this past weekend's Animazement anime convention in Durham, North Carolina disappeared sometime after it concluded. Michael McKeithan is described as a 5-foot-11-inch, 185-pound white male with brown hair, blue eyes, a light beard, and a trimmed mustache. His family and friends have not heard from him since he used his cell phone on the Interstate 40 highway near Greensboro, North Carolina at 7:18 a.m. on Sunday, May 27. He drives a black 1997 Pontiac Sunfire with North Carolina plates VPT-3755.
Anyone who has information about McKeithan's whereabouts is asked to contact the Cue Center for Missing Persons. A picture of McKeithan is available on the Animazement forum and on Photobucket.

Update: The News & Record newspaper of Greensboro reports that McKeithan was found dead of an apparent suicide in his car in Guilford County. Foul play is not suspected.
