News Sensual Phrase's Mayu Shinjo Leaves Shogakukan

Mayu Shinjo, the manga creator of Sensual Phrase and Haou Airen, announced in a May 23 blog that she is leaving Shogakukan. She finished her Ai o Utau yori Ore ni Oborero! and SEX=LOVE² titles in the latest issues of Shōjo Comic and Monthly Cheese!, respectively. She had been drawing for Shogakukan since she debuted in Shōjo Comic in 1994. She plans to return as a freelance manga artist for various magazines after taking time off to "prepare" herself and "recharge."
