News Tezuka Exhibit Ties in New Book, Manga Panel, Workshop

The Los Angeles Times, Wired, and animeOnline cover the Asian Art Museum's Tezuka: The Marvel of Manga exhibition's opening in San Francisco, California. For the occasion, the San Francisco Chronicle and Contra Costa Times interview Frederik L. Schodt on his upcoming Astro Boy Essays. Manga the Complete Guide author Jason Thompson will lead a manga magazine retrospective in the museum's Matcha! mixer on June 7. Cartoon Art Museum curator Andrew Farago and Viz freelance editor Shaenon Garrity will also host a workshop at the event.
