Wolf and Spice Televison Anime in the Works
posted on 2007-08-06 13:45 EDTThe promotional sleeve wrapper for the fifth volume of the Ōkami to Koshinryo (Wolf and Spice) light novels announced that a television anime adaptation has been greenlit. Isuna Hasekura won the Silver Prize in the 12th Dengeki Novel Awards for writing this fantasy. It deliberately leaves out sword and sorcery to focus on how business gets done in a medieval world with a wolf girl. Jū Ayakura (Angelic Bullet game) draws the light novels' illustrations, while Keito Koume (Kujibiki Unbalance and Uta∽Kata manga) will start the manga adaptation in the November issue of Dengeki Maoh. Gankutsuou: The Count. . . DVD 6The only question that remains at the end of Gankutsuou is whether or not any other anime series can seriously challenge it for the title of the year's best. All the scheming and truths come to a boil in a strong finish to a superb series.
