News Gravitation Manga Author, Tokyopop Publisher Interviewed (Updated)

The Publishers Weekly trade magazine posted an interview with Maki Murakami, the creator of Gravitation boys-love manga, and her Gentosha Publishing editor Masahiro Chiko from Otakon 2007. Murakami talks about how she started as a manga artist and her creative process for storytelling and drawing. Separately, the retail news site ICv2 has interviewed Tokyopop Publisher Mike Kiley on the state of the publishing industry and his company in particular.

Cage of Eden GN 2 & 3
Cage of Eden has all of the elements of a classic survival epic – monsters, diseases, an unfriendly wilderness with no perceived escape, and our own ability as humans to lie. While it can be laid on a bit thick at times, and the fanservice or treatment of the adult female characters may be objectionable to some, Yamada's story is an engrossing one.
