The first of four Evangelion movie remakes, Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone, continues to rank on the top ten chart of the Japanese box office, although it dropped from #2 two weekends ago to #4 this past weekend. It earned the equivalent of US$1,262,402 and US$820,836 in those weekends, adding to the US$11,203,840 in gross earnings to date. The only other anime- or manga-related movie in the top ten was Hama-chan Suu-san Seto no Yakusoku, the 18th live-action film adaptation of the Tsuri Baka Nisshi ("Diary of a Fishing Fool") gag manga for men. It was #9 two weekends ago, but dropped to #11 last weekend. Source: Kogyo Tsushinsha, Box Office Mojo
