DMP Employee Volunteered for Yaoi-Con Bishōnen Auction
posted on 2007-10-17 20:28 EDTDigital Manga Publishing has announced that one of its male employees volunteered (or was volunteered) for the annual Bishōnen Auction during the Yaoi-Con 2007 convention near San Francisco, California on October 27. The auction, in which bidders win the (consensual) company of bishōnen for the evening, has been a longstanding fundraising tradition at the seven-year-old yaoi convention. The winner of the DMP employee's auction will also receive his Wa-Lolita outfit from Dream Shoppe and a US$100 gift certificate for Pop Japan Travel's Fujoshi Paradise Tour. The convention will feature the Japanese manga artists Mamiya Oki and Tsubasa Kawahara as Guests of Honor.
