Blu, Boysenberry, Deux, DMP, Yen Announce Boys-Love Titles

Non-boys-love titles from sister imprints also announced

YaoiSuki and MangaCast report that several manga publishers announced new titles at this past weekend's Yaoi-Con, the convention dedicated to the yaoi and boys-love genres. Tokyopop's Blu imprint announced the following:
  • The Nakajima version of Gakuen Heaven by You Higuri

  • Baseball Heaven by Ellie Mamahara

  • Alley of First Love Love by Ellie Mamahara

  • Sensei no Jijou by Temari Matsumoto

  • Dekiru Otoko ga Sukinanda by Hinako Takanaga

  • Kimi ga Koi ni Ochiru by Hinako Takanaga

  • Flesh & Blood novel by Matsuoka Natsuki

Tokyopop will also release Daemonium, a world manga title by Studio Kosen, outside the Blu imprint.

Broccoli Books' Boysenberry imprint announced Cigarette Kisses (Kuchibiru no Yukue) by Nase Yamato, as well as Koi Cupid by Mia Ikumi (Tokyo Mew Mew) and Pandora Hearts by Jun Mochizuki in Broccoli Books' non-boys-love imprint.

Ohzora Publishing's new Deux Press imprint is planning to debut the following titles next year:
  • Yakuza in Love by Shiuko Kano (January)

  • Tough Love Baby by Shiuko Kano (February)

  • Kiss All the Boys Volume 1 by Shiuko Kano (March)

  • Seduce Me After the Show by Esti Em (April)

Digital Manga's 801 Media boys-love division will release three one-shot manga volumes: Devil Secrets (Akuma no Himitsu) by Yaoi-Con 2007 guest Hinako Takanaga, Love +alpha by Takashi Kanzaki, and Just Around the Corner by Yaoi-Con 2006 guest Touko Kawai. 801 Media's sister imprint Juné has licensed the following titles:

Outside Yaoi-Con, the ICv2 industry news site reports that Yen Press will release its first three yaoi titles: Love Quest (Rabu Kue) in October 2008, Mr. Flower Bride (Hanayome-kun) in March 2009, and Mr. Flower Groom (Hanamuko-san) in July 2009. All three titles were created by Lily Hoshino and originally published by Houbunsha.
