News I.G's Asience Ad Wins London International Ad Award (Updated)

The Japanese animation company Production I.G announced that its "Asience: Hairy Tale" animated short is a Gold Winner in the Television/Cinema category, cel animation section of the 22nd London International Advertising (LIA) Awards. Kazuto Nakazawa (Kill Bill's animated sequence, Genius Party's "Moondrive") directed this ad for Kao Corporation's Asience shampoo. 17,660 entries from 81 countries competed for the awards which were presented in London on November 12. The ad can be seen on the LIA website. Update: Headline's spelling corrected.
