Right Stuf Severs Ties with Unresponsive Mythwear
posted on 2007-11-14 09:19 ESTThe Right Stuf anime retailer and distributor announced that its online store will no longer restock or carry new products from Mythwear, a company best known for bags and other accessories based on anime licenses, due to Mythwear's lack of response through telephone or email. Right Stuf is also cancelling all licensing agreeements with Mythwear for its Right Stuf/Nozomi Entertainment anime properties. Mythwear's website (Google cache) is down. Any outstanding customer orders will be either filled with Right Stuf's remaining stock of Mythwear items, or cancelled. Source: AnimeOnDVD.com

Garbage - Idol Fighter Su-Chi-Pai
It should come as a surprise to nobody that a short OAV based on a strip mahjong video game would probably be one of the most mind-numbing pieces of animation Japan ever crapped out.

If you are looking for a sensitive depiction of lesbians that strives for literariness, you have come to the right place. Creator June Kim delivers her quiet tale of friendship, love, and loss with nuanced, high-
Those who plodded through the cutesy, frilly content of earlier volumes while hoping that something would happen will be partly rewarded here. Greatly increased fan service, decided relationship advancement, and a semblance of a developing plot all speak in this volume's favor.
Gakuen Alice mangaka Tachibana Higuchi, who wanted to make her third series cheerful, delivers a delightful shoujo series well worthy of its U.S. publisher's push for the frontlist.
If you too cringed at the sound of Kujibiki Unbalance flushing itself down a smelly toilet of irritating humor clichés, then perhaps you'll be pleased to hear the sound of it clawing its way back out with a renewed focus on its central love triangle.
The higher one aspires, the further there is to fall, but it's safe to conclude that mangaka Akira Hiramoto did not sell his soul to the devil to create Me and the Devil Blues. Though the manga is without question wildly ambitious, it fails to fully deliver on Del Rey's hype.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion DVD 1-2
Yes, it goes way over the top, but unlike many series, Code Geass has the skill and energy to carry viewers over the top with it.
Pokemon: Diamond & Pearl Dub.DVD 1-2
Colorful, lively, and sporting a brand-new heroine, the newest season of Pokémon will be eaten up by its pint-sized fanbase while quite naturally driving all others to distraction.
Gurren Lagann Sub.DVD 2
This double-disk sub-only release covers the rest of the second story arc and the beginning of the third. Although still a purely entertaining series at heart, it shows a greater capacity than its contemporaries to adapt to its story advancement and grow beyond its original parameters.

Death Note DVD 6
This quartet of episodes is substantially better than the four that preceded them, and it's nice to finally have the forgettable Yotsuba Group conspirators out of the way. Since the DVD ends on a convenient cliffhanger that will, arguably, culminate in one of the most shocking plot twists of the series thus far, faithful viewers will certainly not want to stop here.

Simoun Sub.DVD 5
Exceptional writing and music highlight the beautiful, elegant, and sometimes sad, yet also very involving, way in which the series concludes. This may have started out as a yuri sci fi title, but by the end its yuri component no longer registers; it is simply wonderful sci fi entertainment.

Random Fun
It will be found wanting in any comparison to Twelve Kingdoms, its closest anime cousin, and contains some writing flaws, but the first volume features a good enough look, value, and story to be worth checking out.
