Mexico to Return to World Cosplay Summit Competition

On Monday, February 4, Mexico City's TNT GT2 anime convention will host that country's round of the 2008 World Cosplay Summit (WCS). This will be the second year in a row that Mexico will participate in the competition. Two winners, who are allowed to enter costumes based on anime, manga, or Japanese videogames, will be selected and given the opportunity to travel to Nagoya, Japan next summer for the WCS 2008 finals. They will join the finalists from various other countries, including the United States. So far, winners have already been named for the Thailand, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Denmark preliminary rounds.
