ADV Suspends Anime ADVocates Club Program Indefinitely

Company will still give screening permissions, occasional product samples
ADV Films announced via an email message late Thursday that it has officially suspended the Anime Advocates club program indefinitely. The North American anime distributor had put the outreach program on hiatus last November. According to ADV, the program had provided free screening material and other promotional content to almost 3,000 active clubs, and more than 90% of these clubs started because of the program. However, ADV also says that it cannot afford the manpower and resources needed for so many clubs.
ADV will still support clubs by giving screening permissions to clubs who email [email protected], as well as giving "occasional product samples and the like."
