"Girl power" manga about high school freshman who likes money over boys

Kiyoko Arai, the manga creator of Beauty Pop and Mahō no Star Magical Emi (Magical Star Magical Emi), is starting a new "girl power" manga called Yomogi Mochi Yake Ta? in the April issue (on sale on March 14) of Shogakukan's ChuChu shōjo magazine. The titular character, Yomogi, is a high school freshman who sees her friends falling in love, but she prefers money over boys. Arai just ended Beauty Pop last month, and Viz Media will publish the seventh of that title's nine volumes in North America on March 4. Arai also created the Magical Emi manga and anime, but neither has been licensed for English release yet.
