Bandai Entertainment Confirms License of Rocket Girls

Adding to its reputation as the industry's major distributor of science fiction anime, Bandai Entertainment has announced its license for the science fiction comedy anime series Rocket Girls at the company's Anime Boston 2008 panel today. Happinet Pictures produced Rocket Girls with the cooperation of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. The 12-episode series ran in Japan from February to May of last year. The possibility of this license was revealed earlier this week.
