News Starz Strengthens Brand Ties with Manga Entertainment

Starz Entertainment, which runs the Starz standard and high-definition cable channels and owns the anime distributor Manga Entertainment, has announced an integrated branding and marketing campaign for all of its units. The home video distributor Anchor Bay Entertainment and the animation studio Film Roman are also affected. The campaign will consist of a common logo and "Are you ready?" tagline to identify all of them as parts of the Starz group, and various advertising and cross-promotion initiatives. According to a Starz spokesman, the goal of the campaign is to show that Starz is a "fully integrated media company able to produce all types of programming for distribution across all platforms worldwide."

Overall, neither Pokemon the Movie: Black or its White counterpart really stands out from the already packed herd. While not terrible, these are films that can be safely left alone unless you or your child have a compulsion to truly catch 'em all.
