Manga Cafe Mika to Open in San Francisco on April 26
posted on 2008-04-23 04:38 EDTA new location called Manga Cafe Mika is scheduled to open in San Francisco Japantown in California on April 26. It advertises a selection of over "20,000 Japanese comic books." While it is not a cafe, a different restaurant called On the Bridge has been offering a smaller selection of manga magazines and books in the same neighborhood for over a decade. In Southern California, Chaya Manga Cafe in Costa Mesa offers manga, Internet service, tapioca tea, and other drinks.

If this is the kind of stagnation and dullness that permeates the monster world, then we should all be thankful for being human.
Alita is back and even more powerful than ever, but aside from a couple of fantastic scenes the story progression lacks the sense of excitement and anticipation commonly seen earlier in the series. Seeing one of the all-

Found anime titles to be too generic of late? Ghost Hound may be the series for you. This psychology-laden story about boys who learn to manipulate out-of-body experiences is wholly unlike anything else in its genre and can be impressively creepy.

Random Fun
Although you can, theoretically, read Kamichama Karin Chu without having read its prequel, this would not be, generally speaking, advisable. On the other hand, fans of the franchise may be pleased to know that the new series gets right down to business without rehashing what has come before. Unfortunately, whether you care a whit about that business is another matter entirely.
