Joint CG project with Toei Animation about Earth's robot defenders
The entertainment conglomerate Disney will be running the computer-animated RoboDz series, which it has been producing with Toei Animation, on its revamped Disney XD channel in the United States. RoboDz follows the adventures of three robots who protect both the humans and robots of Earth from space invaders. Disney is also co-producing the Japan-based Stitch! television series spinoff with Madhouse and the Fireball television series about two robots with Jinni's, but American release plans have not been announced yet for these other two projects. Disney is revamping the struggling Toon Disney Channel as Disney XD next February to attract more preteen males.
