To celebrate Halloween, The Beat blog of the Publishers Weekly trade magazine has posted an entire chapter from the Black Jack medical drama manga from manga and anime pioneer Osamu Tezuka. The "Teratoid Cystoma" story comes from the first volume of Vertical's North American edition of Black Jack. The titular character Black Jack is an outcast doctor who travels the land to save the lives of the desperate, regardless of rules. Vertical shipped the first volume of the manga last month, and the next volume arrives on November 18.discuss this in the forum (15 posts) |
