News Kannagi Creator Takenashi Reportedly Cannot Move, Write (Updated)

Update: Manga creator Kazuya Minekura (Saiyuki, Bus Gamer) reported on her blog on Wednesday that fellow creator Eri Takenashi "cannot move her body" after she abruptly stopped working on her Kannagi manga due to poor health. The editorial department of Monthly Comic Rex, Ichijinsha's magazine that publishes Bus Gamer and Kannagi, told the J-Cast website that Takenashi is unable to write and added that, if she recovers, she might explain what happened herself. The editors also insisted that the fan controversy over a plot revelation in the latest Kannagi installment had nothing to with Takenashi's condition.
