Previews of IDW's Astro Boy Comics Posted Online

The artist Ashley Wood (Reptilia, Transformers: Generations) has posted two covers for IDW Publishing's comic adaptation of the computer-animated Astro Boy film on his blog between last month and this month. (The film, in turn, is an adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's classic Mighty Atom robot manga and anime.) IDW Editor-in-Chief Chris Ryall posted two pages from the comic with artwork from E.J. Su (The Transformers, Voltron) on February 18. The movie is slated to open on October 23, and the comic will begin its weekly release before the movie's opening.
