Bandai Entertainment Licenses Lucky Star OVA

During their official panel at Wondercon 2009, Bandai Entertainment Director of Marketing announced that the company has secured the license for the Lucky Star OAV. The OVA is based on the popular fan-centric TV series, which Bandai is also releasing in North America. The OVA, which was released in Japan last September, is a collection of short vignettes featuring the iconic characters from the show.

Wondercon, a comic book convention organized and run by San Diego Comic-Con, runs through Sunday, March 1 at the Moscone Center in downtown San Francisco.
