TV Show Profiles Missing Girl Heading to Anime Cons

posted on by Egan Loo

Last Saturday's episode of the America's Most Wanted program on the Fox Network profiled a missing girl who was reportedly heading to anime conventions last month. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) reported that 14-year-old Deborah Kalai Fourzan disappeared on February 2 from her hometown of Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Fourzan reportedly told schoolmates that she is traveling to various anime conventions with James Reimer (pictured at right), a man who also lived in Oklahoma. According to America's Most Wanted, Reimer has been charged with "using technology to solicit sexual conduct or communicate with a minor."

Authorities believe Reimer is driving a 1994 white Mercury Cougar with significant front end damage and Oklahoma plates VRW932. Fourzan is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has blue eyes, pierced ears, and a birthmark on the back of her arm, but the NCMEC says that she may dye her blonde hair black. The 41-year-old Reimer, who goes by his nickname Jim, is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 280 pounds. He has a tatoo on his left arm, brown hair, blue eyes, and a beard, but he may shave his beard off. Authorities advise anyone who sees the two individuals to not approach them, but to contact the police.
