Germany Restricts Yamane's Finder Manga as "Harmful"

posted on

The German government has indexed the first boys-love manga volume of Ayano Yamane's Finder Series as "harmful to young persons." According to the government's Federal Department for Media Harmful to Young Persons which creates this index, distribution of an indexed object "is restricted to people of legal age only. It is also prohibited to show incriminated content as teasers, trailers or in any other advertising context."

Tokyopop published the first four volumes of the manga in Germany, but information on the first volume has been removed from Tokyopop's website. Central Park Media's Be Beautiful Manga imprint published the manga in North America until the imprint's operations were put on hold. The parent company then filed for bankruptcy last month.
