Ad from shuttered anime/manga distributor printed in program guide

The following full-page advertisement was printed in the Anime Expo 2009 convention's program guide:

To all CPM Fans and Friends:

It has been a wonderful twenty years working to find great anime and manga to bring to the attention of American fandom.

As the Bible says:

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted …

(Ecclesiastes 3:1,2)

Well, we've done our borning, planting, and plucking up and dying. We've had a ball doing it, and getting to know many of you along the way.

We thank all of you who have supported us in our endeavors, and we wish everyone the best.

And as one of our other favorite role models once wrote,

'Nuff said!
