Gackt to also sing on August 23, 1 day after Hatsune's Animelo 'performance'

Not-So-Daily Link of the Day: The official website for Japan's Animelo Summer Live 2009 Re:bridge concerts has announced on Friday that Hatsune Miku — a virtual singer whose voice is created by a software engine — will "perform" on-stage on August 22. The singer and actor Gackt will also perform on August 23. Hatsune's image was created by an artist named Kei, and her voice was provided by YAMAHA Corporation's Vocaloid 2 engine using samples from voice actress Saki Fujita.

Animelo Summer Live is an annual series of concerts for anime songs; it has been running since 2005. The event organizers have not explained how Hatsune will make her appearance.
