The September issue of Shueisha's Monthly Young Jump magazine has announced on Tuesday that Sekirei manga creator Sakurako Gokurakuin will launch her Returners ~Kigensha~ manga series this winter. The story revolves around the mystery cases at Tokyo's 24th special ward. (In real life, there are only 23 wards in Tokyo.) Returners already appeared as a two-part mini-series in the August and September issues of Monthly Young Jump. The Seven Arcs anime studio adapted Sekirei into a television anime series last summer.
Yukiya Sakuragi's Inubaka manga has migrated from Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine to Monthly Young Jump in the September issue. The story follows Suguri, a girl who has a mysterious knack for dealing with even the most ferocious of dogs at a pet shop. Viz Media is releasing the 14th volume of the manga under the name Inubaka: Crazy for Dogs in North America in October. 22-year-old actress Suzanne will star in a live-action film adaptation in Japan this fall.
