Takashi Sano's risque romantic comedy already inspired 1999 TV anime

The Japanese publisher Shonengahosha has revealed the live-action theatrical version of Takashi Sano's Iketeru Futari risque romantic comedy manga through its website with a streaming trailer. (In the linked page, select the "Movie" icon.) The story centers on Kyōsuke saji, an ordinary teenage boy who adores a girl named Akira Koizumi despite the other people in their lives who complicate their relationships.

Yuka Kyōmoto and Takayuki Yoshida star as Koizumi and saji, respectively. The film will have a October 2-4 run in Tokyo's Cinemart Roppongi theater before its DVD release this winter. The manga has been running in the publisher's Young King magazine over the course of 13 years and 300 installments. J.C. Staff animated a television adaptation that aired in Japan from 1999.
