True Tears BD Box Planned with New 3-Minute Epilogue

The December issue of Tokuma Shoten's Animage magazine, which officially goes on sale on Tuesday, includes a notice for a True Tears Blu-ray Box from Bandai Visual. The box will include about three minutes of new footage as an epilogue that will depict the future of the main characters after the last television episode. However, production of the box will only be green-lit for a March 26 release if 2,000 or more pre-orders are filled.
If produced, the 367-minute box will include 53 minutes of video extras. Besides the epilogue, those video extras will feature about 20 minutes of introductory footage to the February 2008 True Tears stage production. The box will also bundle a 74-page booklet with new interviews and an illustration gallery from the earlier DVD release.
