News Kunimitsu no Matsuri Actor, Singer Manabu Oshio Arrested
posted on 2009-12-07 23:28 EST
Actor and singer Manabu Oshio (Kunimitsu no Matsuri's Mutou) was arrested on Monday on suspicion of providing drugs to a woman who was found dead in an apartment on August 2. He was previously arrested for stimulant use on August 3, but he said then that the drugs were given to him by the woman, and was released with a suspended sentence. However, police arrested him again Monday when two ex-girlfriends of Oshio told police Oshio had given them drugs — thus supporting police's suspicion that Oshio acquired the drugs himself.
Police are considering charging Oshio for negligence in the 30-year-old woman's death.
In August, actress and singer Noriko Sakai was also arrested for stimulant use, and was also handed a suspended sentence in November.

Dawn of the Arcana stumbled at bit in its second volume, but with this one we seem to be back on track.
As far as conclusions go, this arc has one of the strongest. While Eye Opening revealed some important information about the Sonozaki family in general and the twins in particular, Atonement makes us look at what information we already have in a different way.
While the story still has its logical flaws, it remains an engaging read that holds up well despite the passing of years and this volume continues to keep up both the promise and nostalgia of Takeuchi's masterwork.
Overall, neither Pokemon the Movie: Black or its White counterpart really stands out from the already packed herd. While not terrible, these are films that can be safely left alone unless you or your child have a compulsion to truly catch 'em all.
Apocalypse Meow is, if nothing else, unique.
