Shaman King/Ultimo's Takei to Restart Jumbor Manga

Dogs: Bullets & Carnage returns from short break; Yozakura Quartet's Yasuda draws 1-shot

The February issue of Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazines has announced on Tuesday that Shaman King and Ultimo manga creator Hiroyuki Takei will be relaunching his Jumbor story in the next issue on February 19.

Takei originally serialized his Jumbor Barutronica (Jūki Ningen Jumbor) manga for just 10 weeks in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2007. The fantasy adventure followed a construction warrior who was reborn in a five-year-old clone to restore the lost country of Dovork. The new manga will be set in the same world, but 300 years later. He had already drawn a one-shot story in the November issue of Ultra Jump last year.

The March issue of Ultra Jump will also feature the return of Shirow Miwa's Dogs: Bullets & Carnage suspense manga after a short break, as well as a new unnamed one-shot manga from Yozakura Quartet creator Suzuhito Yasuda.

Viz Media publishes Shaman King, Ultimo, and Dogs in North America. Del Rey published the fifth volume of Yozakura Quartet last September.
